Classes participating include Cadet ROK, Vortex Mini ROK, Vortex ROK DVS Junior, 125cc Rotax Max Junior, ClubSport 120 and ClubSport LO206, Open, 125cc Rotax Max Light, 125cc Rotax Max Heavy and Senior Yamaha, Vintage.

Food & Drink
The KSHB Café will be open on Friday lunchtime.,Saturday and Sunday. The Cafe will be serving breakfast (Bacon and Egg Muffins and Coffee) and Lunch on both days.

Security
Security will be on site on Friday and Saturday nights only. Competitor’s equipment left on site overnight will be at the owner’s risk.

A BBQ and Social day, will be held in the Clubrooms to help Celebrate Blossom 51 Years at the conclusion of Saturday’s racing and Vintage Kart demonstrations.

Prize Giving
The Prize Giving is to be held in the Club house as soon as practical on Sunday at the conclusion of racing. We will be mindful of those visitors who could be wanting to return home.
Possibly 1.00p.m.to 2.00pm

Blossom 51st 2019 will have Trophies and Spot prizes for the Cadet ROK, Vortex Mini ROK, Vortex ROK DVS Junior and 125cc Rotax Max Junior classes.

For all classes we are working on cash prizes – will confirm at later date

Event Status
This is a single event run over 2 days to the regulations, codes, rules, procedures and specifications of KartSport New Zealand

Entry Details
Entries must be on the official entry form and accompanied by the correct entry fees direct credited or by posted cheque 


Official closing date for the early entries is 5pm Friday 9th of August 2019
Classes may be cancelled due to not achieving minimum entries (8 per class) by early entry closing date.


The confirmed classes will be posted on KSHB Website and KSHB Facebook page on Sunday 11th August or if known previous to that date
Late entries will be accepted for the confirmed classes until 5pm Wednesday 28th August only if accompanied by the appropriate late entry fee.


There will be NO oversubscribed fields. Maximum Field size is 34. Priority to first fully paid entries received.

Eligibility
This event is restricted to holders of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Competition Licences and Vintage Licensed drivers.


EXCEPTION: Drivers competing in Senior 100cc Yamaha class(es), who have held a KartSport New Zealand A or B Rated or Tier 1 or Tier 2 Rated Competition Licence since 1 July 2010, can apply for a Special this Event Only Licence.

Race Programme
Friday: Testing in both directions as per the Timetable.
Saturday: Clockwise(may be last race anti clockwise)
Sunday: Anticlockwise


Vintage Karts will be run in time allocated groups. For clarity it is our current intention that each Vintage Class will have up to 4 runs on each of the two days.


A more accurate event programme will be published following the close of entries on the Friday 9th of August 2019 when we will have more certainty on classes. Classes to be run will be posted on KSHB website and Facebook pages on 11th August 2019.

Race Distances: Heats 10 laps
Yamaha GP Laps = Number of Yamaha GP entries. Tyres as raced in Heats.
Open GP 50 laps. Rotax classes, tyres as raced in Heats. Open class may fit a second set of tyres.

Race Formats:
Cadet ROK, Vortex Mini ROK, Vortex ROK DVS Junior, 125cc Rotax Max Junior, ClubSport 120 and ClubSport LO206:


Saturday: Heats 1-5, predetermined grid system. 6th Heat lowest points to the front. 


Sunday: Heats 7-9, predetermined grid system. Points from Heats 1-9 totalled. Grid for 10th Heat lowest points to the front. After 10th Heat competitor’s worst performance is now dropped and the class results are decided over the best 9 Heats. Ties ref Rule P2.7.


Open, 125cc Rotax Max Light, 125cc Rotax Max Heavy and Senior Yamaha:
Saturday: Heats 1-5, predetermined grid system. 6th Heat lowest points to the front. 


Sunday: Heats 7-8, predetermined grid system. Points from Heats 1-8 totalled. Grid for 9th Heat lowest points to the front. After 9th Heat competitor’s worst performance is now dropped and the class results are decided over the best 8 Heats. Ties ref Rule P2.7.

Yamaha GP and Open GP: Grid set by marble draw out of the hat.
Race Times, Will be determined by the President of Kart Sport Hawkes Bay.

Decals
Competitors may be required to display sponsors stickers in the designated area of the kart.

Documentation, Gear Check and Scrutineering
Random scrutineering, confirmation of entry and gear check as per timetable

Drivers Briefing
Will be conducted on Saturday and Sunday in the out grid area or other such place as may be notified. All driver’s and signed in parents/legal guardians must attend drivers briefing.

Engine Revving Area
A designated area will be assigned to be used for revving engine.

Official Notice Board
The notice board is situated on the wall outside the weigh in area behind the Race Secretary’s office. Notices, results and/or information may not be removed from the board without the authority of a KartSport New Zealand Official.

Senior Yamaha
The Senior Yamaha Class or Classes to be run will be decided (by the Convenor) based on paid up entries received by 5pm Friday 2nd August. If more than one Senior Yamaha Class is formed they will run together with separate results. Maximum combined field of 34. Only the first 34 fully paid entries received will be accepted.

Rotax Max Light and Rotax Max Heavy may be combined to form one field with Rotax Light off the front. Results will be separate.

Clubsport 120 and Clubsport LO206 may be combined to form one field with Clubsport 120 off the front. Results will be separate.

Vortex DVS Junior and Rotax Max Junior may be combined to form one field with Vortex DVS Junior off the front. Results will be separate.

For the Giesen Classic Cuvee Blossom 51st Open 50 Lap GP one further New or Used set of Open tyres may be used by Open class karts only. Rotax classes must use tyres as used in the Heats. This race is for Open and senior Rotax classes only.

For the Yamaha GP tyres must be as used for the Heats.

Parking, Trailers and Marquees: If Competitors wish to share a Marquee please contact the Convenor 


Please Note Trailer sites will be provided on a first in first served basis.
Please be considerate of your fellow Karters when parking trailers.

18. Engine Sealing
Engines will be sealed as per rule L9. Seals will be distributed from the KSHB weigh shed between 3-5pm on Friday August 30th . Yamaha Classes, Clubsport120 Classes and Clubsport LO206 Classes are not required to comply with the Engine Sealing rule L9
